Application of intracavity adaptive mirror for CW solid state laser radiation control

Abstract: A reduction of the divergence of a laser beam by afactor of 2 - 2.5 was achieved in a multimode regime oflaser generation using an intracavity controlledmirror. It is shown that various radiation modestructures may be formed at the laser output and in thefar-field zone. The correspondence between the shape ofa deformed flexible mirror and the configuration of agenerated mode has been detected. !4
