We consider the Wien-bridge chaos oscillator, a modification of a linear harmonic oscillator with a piecewise linear resistor. The study of the circuit eigenvalues as function of the circuit parameters can be useful to find the optimal value of a given parameter for the design. As starting point we choose such parameters that satisfy the general conditions of oscillation. Then by performing the plot of eigenvalues for one part of piecewise linear characteristic of nonlinear element it is necessary to select the parameter value that enables the increase of oscillations. The presented above investigations enabled to speed up the IC circuit design.
