Configurable remote, platform independent control system

摘要

The Internet is becoming more and more common. The software developing companies noticed this evolution and they started to develop easy-to-use tools and languages supporting the Internet development. This paper describes research on the application of the Internet and the Internet-development tools in control systems. The result is a remote observing and manipulating control system. The system is based on client-server architecture. The server controls the industrial plant. The clients connect to the server via local network or Internet. The clients receive data about the current state of the system and show an abstract picture of the plant. They can also manipulate the control by sending the new algorithm written in programming language. The implemented system can be used in industry and in education.
