In course of studying rule of air-conditioning dynamic load, it is greatly important to determine those factors notably influencing dynamic load rule. Influencing load factors are numerous. If factors weren't confirmed, the work of study would be exceedingly miscellaneous and blind. Adopting orthogonal test design method may solve this problem very well. The object studied is department stores in this paper. In the analysis model of air-conditioning load of department stores, according to the author's specialty knowledge, nine basic factors are selected preliminarily. Purpose of this paper is filtering notable factors. Firstly, preliminary test is defined basing on the theory of orthogonal test design, and variance analysis method in orthogonal test is adopted to analyze tested results. Factors notably influencing rule of dynamic load are filtered from basic factors. Then, official test will take place around notable factors. The work of study will have distinct consecution and amount of work is decreased greatly due to orthogonal test design method. Method in this paper may also be used to discuss rule of dynamic load in other buildings and to study similar problems of multi-factors.
