This paper introduces the method of radar fault diagnosis based on virtual instruments by establishing radar fault expert database and using the guidance of inferable software through radar fault signs. The hardware consists of industrial computer and PC virtual instruments etc. The software is formed from the database and guiding reason procedure etc. It can acquire and process the data of test point. It also automatically tests and judges the radar faults. Finally it can compress the radar faults to the changeable units.
