Control of Smelting Smoke in Waste Film Processing by Electrostatic Collection Method

The Lucky Film is the largest film producer in China. Each year, a large amount of waste film has to be processed during the production by smelting, by which about one hundred tons of silver can be recovered. But the smelting process generates heavy smoke, which severely pollutes the environment. A set of electrostatic dust collector has been designed and employed to control the pollution and has got excellent result. In this paper, we describe the overall structure design and the power supply control system of the electrostatic dust collector. The effectiveness of the smoke collection has also been analyzed.
