摘要

Triaryl cyanurates were prepared from cyanuric chloride and potassium salt of phenol. The melting point, IR and UV of the synthesized compounds are in good agreement with the reported values. The thermal stability, impact, friction sensitivities and auto ignition temperature were studied. Maximum density, detonation velocity, detonation pressure, oxygen balance were calculated. The thermal safety and explosive properties of these compounds were compared with cyclotrinitrotriamine ( RDX) and trinitrotoluene (TNT) and found to be safe to handle. The thermal decomposition takes place in the range of 240~310°C as confirmed by TGA-DTG data.
