RArefaction waVE guN (RAVEN) propulsion constitutes a novel means to dramatically reduce recoil momentum and heat imparted to the future cannons during firing. The method may be considered a hybrid propulsion technology with features common to both closed-breech cannons and recoilless rifles. A new interior ballistics model is presented, which may better be understood. Expatiated and argued contents as follow: background and meaning of study the task, the theory and numerical simulation of interior ballistics.
