A lot of years ago the main reason to attribute one or other solution of electromagnetic problem to definite group of the methods was the existence or the absence of essential analytical transformations aiming to improve obtained solution, to take into account boundary conditions, field behavior near edges, etc. According to this classification the methods may be roughly divided' on analytical, numerical-analytical and numerical ones. Namely in this order, all the methods may be placed on their efficiency and conversely on the breadth of application area.
