In conclusion, a simple and robust self-seeded scheme for simultaneous realization chirp compensation and single-mode operation was demonstrated using a LCFBG external cavity. Chirp-reduction single-mode gigahertz picosecond pulses with a sidemode suppression ratio better than 35 dB were achieved.
