摘要

A numerical procedure for the computation of arc-flow interaction in gas-blast circuit-breakers is presented. In this paper, the Euler equation is solved by FVFL1C method for gas flow analysis. The arc is represented by energy source term in energy conservation equation. The source term is composed of an ohmic heating production part and the radiative transport part. The analysis method is applied to the circuit breaker model based on a 2-D axisymmetric and simulation results are compared to experimental ones.
