NUMERICAL ANALYSIS DEVICE, EXCLUSIVE PROCESSOR MODULE FOR NUMERICAL ANALYSIS, EXCLUSIVE CIRCUIT FOR NUMERICAL ANALYSIS, AND NUMERICAL ANALYSIS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an exclusive computer which executes a numerical analysis processing by a GSMAC finite element method at high speed.;SOLUTION: At least calculation of divergence that is a simple part having a large arithmetic quantity among calculations of Poisson equation is executed in an exclusive circuit 16, and processing of an equation of motion which needs flexibility and other calculations of Poisson equation except the calculation executed by the exclusive circuit 16 are executed by a general processor 15. The general processor 15 transmits data of cofactor vector, velocity vector and volume for a vector concerned in factor units to the exclusive circuit 16, and the exclusive circuit 16 calculates the divergence with the data of cofactor vector, velocity vector and volume. The exclusive circuit 16 is closely connected to the general processor 15 through a local bus, and input and output of data between the exclusive circuit 16 and the general processor 15 are executed at high speed through the local bus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
