The finite volume method (FVM) is widely used in the hydrodynamics. We extend this method to calculate the coefficient matrix for solving the inverse problem of EEG. The discreted equation of FVM is Σ from i = 1 to N of ∫∫_(S_i)σ▽Φ·d(S-vector)_i = Σ from i = 1 to N of ∫∫_(S_i)σ▽_(n_i)ΦdS_i = -I where, σ is the conductivity, I is the total current in the element. Φ is the potential at vertices of each element.
