Illusory inference in deductive possibility judgment tasks

Two experiments were performed to replicate the illusory inference (Goldvarg & Johnson-Laird, 2000; Yang & Johnson-Laird, 2000) and to explore the possible remedial procedures for the illusory inference. In both experiments, participants judged the possibility of a conclusion when only one of the two premises was supposed to be true.
