摘要

The test results of 40 corbel specimens subjected to vertical loading are presented in this paper, High quality Ribtec steel fibres and a concrete mix of 40 MPa were used. This study implied that fibrous corbels possessed enhanced load―carrying capacity. The cracking characteristics showed high performance of SFRC corbels. The statistical analysis showed that the test results obtained were in close agreement with the theoretical values. This special construction material also proved that it is a sustainable prospective means to achieve significant structural advantages owing to its high performance.
