A Method Evaluating Overall Mass Transfer Coefficient of Silicone Rubber Membrane Modules Used to Biodegrade VOCs in Wasteater

This paper suggested an effective method to determine the overall mass transfer coefficient in silicone rubber membrane modules used to biodegrade VOCs in industrial wastewater. The experiments of mass transfer through membrane were conducted with hollow-fiber and spiral-wound membrane modules. The coefficients of these two modules took an order of 10~(-6) m/s.
