Automatic target recognition (ATR) usually become difficult when target is blocked by clouds, or low image contrast, or target repeat mode in a complex optical imaging enviromnent. The ground target recognition method based on landmarks is a good way for aircraft navigation, which can solve unobvious target recognition problems in a complex wide-field scene. In combination with the characteristics of selective attention in human visual system, this paper systematic study the construction rules for the cluster of landmarks, present a landmarks dynamic allocation method in ground target recognition, which can effectively improve the stability and accuracy of target recognition.
