摘要

In this paper the incipient motion of sediment by currents and waves is studied. The forces acting on sediment particles are analyzed in all aspects. Considering drag, lift, gravitational forces and the cohesion of sediment particles, the additional static pressure induced by the film of water, which has solidity characteristics, and the inertia force of waves, formulas of the incipient motion under the influences of currents and waves are derived.
