Indicator to estimate wire quality for nail production

摘要

This work analyzes the drawing process using 2.5 mm diameter wires from four steel grades, D6.2, St1-X, C1016 and C1008, for the production of nails 2.5X55 with conical heads―lat and chequered. Results obtained from the tests for determining mechanical and technological property values of new quality indicator have been calculated, which permits classifying wires for the production of these nails.
