UPDATES IN CANINE CATARACT SURGERY

Significant advances in canine cataract surgery have been made in recent years, involving virtually every aspect of the process: surgical technique; pre-, intra-, and postoperative pharmacologic management; and intraocular lens (IOL) implantation. Appropriate referral for evaluation and treatment is imperative, as is an understanding of what your clients and patients will experience upon referral and surgical removal of cataracts.
