The centrifuge accommodiations module (CAM) uses a combination of qualified common Space Station hardware and Jpanese Experimental Module (JEM) outflitting expertise to meet all of the module-level requirements and provide a safe atmosphere to conduct a multitude of science experiments.The environmental control and life support system (ECLSS) uses this approach to provide a safe environment with minimal risk and cost to the program.
