In this contribution we examine the estimation of nonparametric noise and frequency response matrix (FRM) models for multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems. We introduce the concept underlying the proposed method along with an explanation of the basic equations. To prove the value of the new approach we apply it to a benchmark identification problem. The system under test is an active vibration isolation system (AVIS) with 8 inputs and 6 outputs.
