The analysis of drivetrains operating under high dynamic loads presupposes the assembly of a detailed simulation model which is able to represent the dynamic behaviour of the drivetrain in the frequency and time domain. The assembly of a corresponding model requires a huge amount of parameters and is very time-consuming. By the disassembling of a complex structure in simple substructures an automated modelling process can be used and offers a considerable reduction of modelling time as well as an easy modification of the level of detail for each submodel. Additionally the systematically modelling procedure simplifies the exchange and the validation of models.
