Experimental investigation of pulse tube-gas wave refrigerator

In the present paper, a new kind of refrigerator, pulse tube-gas wave refrigerator, which couples pulse tube refrigeration and gas wave refrigeration, is introduced. The possibility of coupling pulse tube refrigeration and gas wave refrigeration is studied theoretically and experimentally. The factors that affect the isentropic efficiency are studied experimentally. Through the experimental study, some useful conclusions are obtained, and the curves for the factors effecting the isentropic efficiency are presented.
