New Tacoma Narrows Bridge Alternative Designs

摘要

Transportation capacity improvement across the Tacoma Narrows has been the focus of recent studies. Proposed solutions include adding a lower roadway to the existing Tacoma Narrows Bridge or construction of a new parallel bridge. Evaluation of alternative designs and identification of the preferred solution is discussed.
