摘要

The formation of stable emulsion during extraction makes it rather difficult to separate the organic phase from fermentation broth directly. This problem also leads to significant increase in cost and decrease of product recovery. To take effective methods to destroy emulsion, we should study emulsification mechanism during the extraction of penicillin thoroughly. In our work, sources of emulsion during penicillin G extraction had been examined first.
