FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra of complex of La(III) with 6-aminouracil

After the successful identification of cis-platin as an antitumor agent, a new area of research has been opened up in the field of metal-complexes to search anti-tumor agents. Pyrimidine compounds derived from uracil usually exist mainly in keto form and give stable complexes [1]. Recent studies of uracil derivatives and their metal complexes have been motivated by their biological importance. In the present work we report the FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra of complex of La(III) with 6-aminouracil.
