Among the metal surfaces used as SERS-active substrate with an appropriate roughness, silver colloids have shown sutiable physcial properties for an optimal electromagnetic field enhancement due to the fractal morphology that results upon their aggregatio~(1,2). In addition, these SERS substrates are characterised by an easy preparation, handling and storage, thus facilitiating their sue in the devices empo0lyed in common Raman spectroscopy. Moreover, the continuos renewal of the surface exposed to light b exchange of the colloidal suspension in the laser beam avoids a possible thermal decomposition.
