A methodology for the design of collaborative services

摘要

This paper presents a formal framework, based on structural and behavioural models, that has been applied to the design of a generic group membership service. The structural part describes the topological relationships between the concerned software entities, while the behavioural part is the formalism used for their behaviour. The proposed methodology has served for the group membership service definition, implemented on top of a JAVA-based actor platform.
