Application of the LAN on the Detailed Routing

摘要

Along with the advancement of the modern IC technology, the routing task consumes more and more time. Seeking faster detailed routing algorithms is one of the main goals of the research works. The emergence of the network makes the parallel detailed routing becoming possible. We can divide the whole detailed routin task into a series of sub-tasks, and assign these sub-tasks to different computers on the LAN (Local Area Network), thus to shorten the whole detailed routing time. This paper will introduce an application of the LAN on the area detailed routing problem.
