AN APPROACH TO OPEN PC-BASED CONTROL OF ROBOTICS IN FINAL ASSEMBLY TASKS

摘要

This paper deals with the implementation of open PC-based control systems, standard communication networks and connectivity tools in robotic assembly cells in the light assembly industry domain. Use of standard hardware and software components for accomplishing robotics control in final assembly paves the way to more flexible and easily re-configurable automation systems. The paper introduces and discusses a real case platform based on the described approach.
