TESTING OF MINI-SIZED ASSEMBLY ROBOT REPEATABILITY AND PERFORMANCE

When designing a high accuracy, high throughput assembly system, accurate information on robot repeatability and performance is needed. However, not all measurement methods can be used when dealing with the mini and micro sized robot manipulators because of their very good speed and repeatability characteristics. In this paper we report new methods designed for mini-sized robot measurements.
