摘要

Classical swine fever (CSF) is the most important contagious disease of pigs in Thailand. Phylogenetic analysis of Thai isolates demonstrates that classical swine fever virus (CFSV) can be divided into three major genogroups and genogroup 3.3 is a newgenogroup no report from other parts of the world. CSFV has no defined serotypes, although strains vary in their virulence, and antigenic variation can be shown by serum-virus neutralization methods. Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) offer a new, more precise tool for characterizing the antigenic makeup of pestiviruses. The present study is to show antigenic relationships among Thai CSFV isolates and vaccine efficacy test against a field isolate of genogroup 3.3 which has a very different antigenic profile.
