The Surface Treatment of AB_5 Hydrogen Storage Alloy

摘要

The surface property of hydrogen storage alloy is very important for its electrochemical application . AB_5 hydrogen storage alloy has good activation property and discharge capacity of 260mAh/g～320mAh/g and it is the main negative material for MH-Ni battery. But the negative electrode with AB_5 hydrogen storage alloy has low antioxidation, antipulverization and anticorrosion. The relationship between the surface property and electrochemical performance of the alloy is discussed with the previous researches. The development status of the different surface treatments for AB_5 alloys in resent years are reviewed and compared.
