The Josephson fluxonic diode (JFD) is proposed as an X-ray and millimeter wave detector. Simulation results are provided that demonstrate its detection principle under X-ray and millimeter wave radiation. Under X-ray radiation, the maximum zero voltage current decreases with increasing frequency and this is the basis of detection. Application of millimeter waves results in a voltage state which depends linearly on the frequency of the wave. The JFD's ease of fabrication, high impedance level, and high operating temperature is unmatched by existing X-ray and millimeter wave detectors.
