The cold forging industry in the United States has undergone a series of transformations over the years. Many of the changes have been due to advances in technology, changing market conditions and competition from overseas and competing processes. This paper discusses the state of the art in cold forging technology in the United States as well as some of the changes that have taken place over the last decade in light of changing market conditions and demands.
