The reconfigurable manufacturing system(RMS) is a smart manufacturing system adapted for agile manufacturing. In this paper,an innovatory construction of array layout RMS based organizable modal flexible manufacturing system(OMC) is presented. The stochastic modals of system design and system control for RMS according to optimum productive profit are established. The algorithms are applied to optimize buffer allocation and work routing policies for reconfigurable flexible manufacturing system based on a queueing network model moreover introduced a blocking mechanism and a static Markov routing policy are obtained. The developed novel prototype of OMC can be used as the kernel cell of an array layout RMS. Case study is performed,the RMS applied on automobile parts production is available.
