Using methods of precision thermogravimetry, metallography, microhardometry, X-ray spectrum microanalysis,radiography it was studied the influence of nature and concentration of alloying elements,structure of alloys,temperature, composition of gas phase and oxygen pressure upon rate and kinetic regularity of formation, structure and length of oxygen diffusion layer in titanium alloys during their oxidation at 1073-1473 K. It was determinated a dependence of oxygen portion in diffusion layer on different factors. It was considered the influence of oxygen absorption by metal upon redistribution of alloying elements in surface zone of metallic matrix.
