A complete description of combined gas alarm is presented. The alarm is based on two commercial metal-oxide gas sensors, a temperature sensor and Fuzzy processing engine implemented in simple 8-bit Toshiba micro controller. The algorithms for gas classification as well as for concentration estimation, both Fuzzy orientated, are detailed. Results obtained from exhaustive sensor and detector tests are presented.
