Two years ago, the producers of industrial gases in the Czech Republic teamed up in an association. Its members offer to all bulk consumers of industrial gases such as steelworks and chemical companies that still run their own production of gases like air separation plants, hydrogen or acetyline plants to take over these plants and guarantee them a problem-free and on-site supply of gases via pipeline. This trend towards "outsourcing" is widespread in the industrially developed countries. Due to the constantly rising costs, also the companies in the CR will more and more concentrate on their core production and become more open to the outsourcing of the above mentioned secondary activities. The established industrial gases producers as qualified and competent partners are prepared to take over the operation of air separation and other plants for the production of industrial gases.
