Fuzzy stopping times are introduced as an extension of stopping rules. This paper discusses optimal fuzzy stopping problems for a sequence of fuzzy random variables. The problem deals essentially with the uncertainty of systems including both randomness and fuzziness, and it is one of fuzzy extensions of stochastic models. An optimal fuzzy stopping time is given under certain assumptions.
