摘要

In this paper, the modification of wheat straw pulp is studied by adding a modifying agent mainly including sodium acetate and polyacrylamide. The fibre is defibrized and modified while modifying agent is mixed with alkali liquor during cooking. The results show that 0.5%modifying agent can apparently improve the folding strength with the similar breaking length and tearing index. Infrared spectra show that crystalline index of cellulose is the same. Meanwhile, the viscosity of wheat straw pulp black liquor is similar whether adding the modifying agent or not. A similar result is obtained in a wheat straw urea semi-chemical process.
