A method for fir filter design based on quantization and PI technique

摘要

This paper presents a method for narrowband filter design based on the quantization of the coefficients of the prototype filter and a Pipelining/Interleaving (PI) technique. The proposed method leads to a saving in the number of multipliers, which increases with a reduction of the transition width.
