Atmospheric gaseous molecules Raman lidar monitoring has a wide application for environmental and scientific purposes due to its concentration measurements possibility. Back scattering vibrational Raman lidar equation computer simulation for hydrocarbons molecules with copper vapour lasers have been made to choose optimal lidar system for studied molecules monitoring in atmosphere at ranging distance up to 6 km. Background stray sunlight power were calculated to determine the minimal detectable molecules concentration level at these ranging distances.
