In this paper, we will introduce our research on browsing and retrieving spatial data. We have been engaged in a research on presenting a suitable georeferenced space for browsing and retrieving spatial data, and we are focusing on the attribute data as well as the image data. InfoLOD is our concept for controlling visualization of attribute data based on orientation and distance for presentation in a three-dimensional space. Spatial glue operation is a newly-introduced operation for dynamically retrieving regions containing spatial objects specified by the user. LandMark is an algorithm for computing a "landmark object" which we defined as an object with the most distinct characteristics. We combine those methods in order to generate a georeferenced space suitable for spatial data exploration.
