摘要

The author gives a summary of the following four study aspects: the characteristic and harmfulenss of smoke in building fire, mechanism of destruction and damage of structure caused by the fire, rescue technology in tall building fire, forecasting the developing tendency of fire and the flow of smoke with computer technology in tall building fire. According to years' research work, the author puts forward a systematic frame of building fire science, safety rescue technology and a series of urgent problems to be solved in the research categories of the fire field. The author expects to push the study of building fire prevention and disasters decrease to a further development.
