The study of traffic safety on oversized bridges applying traffic conflicts technique

摘要

This study applies traffic conflicts technique and systematic analysis to deduce judgment standard of serious conflicts on the Zhengzhou Yellow River Highway Bridge. By means of synthetically applying methods of clustering and stratified sampling, this study confirms conflict's observing highway on the bridge and quantitatively analyses current condition of traffic safety on the Zhengzhou Yellow River Highway Bridge, and puts up some efective measures for the improvement of traffic safety and evaluating method about traffic safety improvement. Finally this study also compares analyzing conclusions that came from traffic conflicts with results draw from traditional traffic safety methods based on accident data on the Zhengzhou Yellow River Highway Bridge.
