With the unceasingly enhanced awareness of the need to protect the environment of the people and the steady improvement of the equipment & the technology, the number of the accidents of marine oil-spill have reduced constantly. But even through, we still can't avert this kind of accident. With the extension of the terminals, the increase in the handling capacity of the oils and the enlargement of size of vessels, Ningbo Port, as a one of the largest transshipment port for oil, is faced with a constant serious danger of large-scale oil-spill on the sea. In the paper, the writer will give an introduction of the situation of the oil spill emergency system in Ningbo, and our probe and practices on it.
