The design and implementation of a full scale in situ bioremediation project for the Malvern TCE Superfund site in Pennsylvania will be described in terms of its engineering, hydrogeological and microbiological components. Monitoring data for chlorinated compounds, mineral nutrients, and electron donors for two years of operation will be presented. A microbiological interpretation will be made using both pre- and post- bioaugmentation monitoring data.
