An Ignored Key to High Productivity and Quality

摘要

Productivity is central to living standards and international competitiveness. Productivity depends on work capacity: the higher is work fatigability. the lower is labour productivity. However, economists seldom consider problems of fatigue in their works and do not use studies of fatigue for increasing productivity. One of the causes is a mess of different meanings of fatigue and productivity in scientific literature. Theoretical and experimental research of the causal relationship between fatigability and productivity in different kinds of work is one of the strategies for solving the problem.
